Quick take
A 5 x 10 foot reclaimed fishing net made from cotton-nylon blend, suitable as wall decor or event backdrop.
This is a 5 by 10 foot piece of reclaimed fishing netting meant for decorating rather than fishing. It drapes over mantels, hangs on walls or serves as a backdrop for beach, luau, mermaid and pirate-themed gatherings. The brown cotton and nylon mesh has a half-inch opening and folds down small, so it suits anglers who want a coastal touch in a den, cabin or garage.
Best for
- Coastal home decor in beach bathrooms, nurseries or living rooms
- Event backdrops for beach weddings, tropical parties or nautical themes
- DIY crafts combining netting with shells, sea glass or coastal accents
Skip if
- You need functional fishing netting; this is authentic but sold as decor
- You prefer new netting with consistent sizing
Strengths
- Authentic reclaimed netting salvaged from working boats carries coastal heritage and story
- Durable cotton-nylon blend withstands indoor and outdoor elements
- Flexible and easy to drape, wrap or arrange for creative applications
Trade-offs
- Reclaimed source means variable knots, repairs and wear marks
- Larger 5 x 10 ft size requires significant wall or display space
- Authentic fishing net appearance may not match refined home decor styles
