Quick take
5-inch soft plastic Senko-style worms in green pumpkin, rigged wacky on a light hook.
This 5-inch Senko-style stick bait comes as a 24-piece pack in a new watermelon colorway, with 50 black O-rings included for a wacky rig set-up. Each bait weighs 0.32 ounces and is aimed at bass anglers. Rigged weightless, it sinks slowly with a bending motion that suits fishing around docks and brush.
Best for
- Shallow water bass fishing over docks and brush
- Wacky rig presentations in weeds and around cover
- Beginners learning soft plastic techniques
Skip if
- You fish deep water and need sinking presentations
- You prefer harder plastic with different action
Strengths
- Salt impregnation adds weight and creates natural falling action
- Green pumpkin color matches many freshwater forage
- Soft plastic body is durable through multiple casts
Trade-offs
- Needs to be rigged by hand on a hook or specialized tool
- Wacky-rigged baits are more delicate in heavy cover
- May not sink fast enough for deep water fishing

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
