Quick take
A 3 inch crawfish trailer with patented mobile claws for flipping and pitching around cover.
The NetBait Paca Chunk in black is a 3-inch craw-style trailer sold in packs of 6. Its claws are shaped to flutter and slow the bait's fall, and the solid body suits a skirted jig or a round ball jig head. Bass anglers flipping and pitching cover will find it a natural add-on for a dark-colored jig.
Best for
- Trailers on round ball jig heads
- Flipping brush, wood and thick cover
- Slow presentations where bait action matters
Skip if
- You want a straight worm profile for finesse presentations
- You fish open water where claw action is not needed
Strengths
- Patented claw design slows descent and adds movement
- Solid body keeps the lure rigged through multiple casts
- Loaded with salt and scent to trigger bites
Trade-offs
- At 3 inches it is bulky for precision pitching
- Claw design snags readily in dense vegetation
- Crawfish profile is less effective on smallmouth than largemouth bass

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
