Quick take
Thin foam spools for storing rigged fly leaders with tippet and fly, color-coded by type.
This four-pack of slim foam leader spools lets a fly angler store leaders already rigged with tippet and a fly. Each spool is only 7mm thick, with locking tabs around the rim, slits at the center and a bar to park the fly. The four colors make it easy to sort leaders by length or purpose, and the foam center also holds flies for a wound-up nymph rig.
Best for
- Organizing multiple leader setups
- Storing nymph rigs completely assembled
- Multi-fly nymphing rigs ready to fish
Skip if
