Quick take
Pre-rigged harness with spinner blade and snell for trolling or drifting nightcrawlers behind bottom bouncers.
Best for
- Trolling behind bottom bouncers on walleye lakes
- Drifting with a nightcrawler, minnow, or leech in current
- Anglers targeting walleye at depth with weight systems
Skip if
- You need a harness for casting from shore; this is designed for trolling or drifting
- You fish saltwater; walleye harnesses are for freshwater lakes
Strengths
- 40-inch snell length puts bait at ideal distance from bouncer weight
- Spinner blade adds vibration and flash to attract walleye
- Pre-tied construction saves time rigging on the water
Trade-offs
- 40-inch snell makes this rig only suitable for trolling systems, not casting
- Single hook size limits use to medium-sized bait
- Harness material degrades with sun exposure between trips
