Quick take

A 6-segment soft plastic swimbait with jointed construction and realistic 3D eyes for lifelike action.

A slow-sinking swimbait for anglers who want a lure that falls gradually through the water column between retrieves. The pack holds three baits, so a spare is on hand when you want to rig another.

Best for

  • Bass and pike responding to jointed motion
  • Slow presentations that mimic injured fish
  • Both freshwater and saltwater species

Skip if

  • You fish heavy timber or rock structure
  • You need single-cast durability

Strengths

  • Hinged segments create flexible S-curve movement
  • Textile fabric joints allow extreme bending
  • Internal BBS sound beads call fish from distance

Trade-offs

  • Segments can fray and tear with aggressive fish
  • Treble hooks require careful handling
  • Soft plastic degrades after multiple fish

About this type

A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.

Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.

Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
