Quick take
Three hundred silicone bait stopper beads in black and white that grip soft plastic lures and prevent them from sliding down the hook shank.
These white silicone beads slide onto a hook shank and hold a soft plastic bait in place, so it stays on a jig or a trailer hook. They fit hooks up to 6/0, which covers a wide range of setups for bass and walleye anglers. Keeping the bait in position also helps a weedless presentation run through cover.
Best for
- Rigging soft plastic worms on shakey heads and jig heads
- Pegging plastic crawfish and creature baits on Texas rigs
- Protecting weedless performance when lures slip on the hook
Skip if
- You use glued or friction pegging methods
- You fish exclusively hard baits and crankbaits
Strengths
- Silicone grips lures without tearing the plastic
- 300-pack lasts a season of heavy soft-plastic fishing
- Available in two colors to match lure and water condition
Trade-offs
- Beads add tiny weight to the rig; weedless performance changes
- Silicone can roll or slip with soft plastic under stress
- Removing beads leaves small holes in soft plastic

- Freshwater
- Saltwater
