Quick take
A solid pine ceiling rod rack that holds up to 9 fishing rods and opens up floor space in garage or shed.
This solid pine rack screws into a ceiling or wall and holds up to nine rods in a horizontal row. It measures about 22.5 inches wide and weighs around a pound, so it fits above a garage or shop door without taking floor space. Anglers with a growing collection of rods and combos can get them off the floor and out of the way.
Best for
- Home garage or shed storage of fishing rod collections
- Utilizing overhead space without taking up floor or wall area
- Storing 6-9 medium-weight rods in vertical orientation
Skip if
- You have fewer than 6 rods to store
- You need quick access to rods or want wall-mounted display
Strengths
- Solid pine construction is lightweight yet sturdy enough for rods
- Ceiling mount frees valuable floor and wall space
- Simple design is easy to install with basic fasteners
Trade-offs
- Requires assembly and ceiling fastening; not portable
- Vertical storage orientation may bend longer rods if not spaced correctly
- Limited capacity compared to horizontal multi-rod holders
