Quick take
Japanese worm hook with carbon steel construction and spring-back design for solid hook sets on soft plastics and live worms.
The Owner B-91 Okappari is a size #4 J-style worm hook made of carbon steel, with a lure-hook design. It is built for rigging soft plastic worms from about 2.5 to 6 inches long. It suits anglers who want a single, compact hook for worm fishing.
Best for
- Rigging soft plastic worms or finesse presentations
- Anglers using light line who need fast hook-up
- Topwater worm techniques where instant penetration helps
Skip if
- You fish heavy cover; this hook may straighten
- You prefer simplicity; spring-back adds complexity
Strengths
- Spring-back principle aids instant hook penetration on light line
- Knife-edge point cuts through soft plastic and fish mouths
- Carbon steel material balances strength with fine-point capability
Trade-offs
