Quick take
1/4 oz oval lead sinkers from Owner, scaled for panfish and small catfish on light tackle.
This Owner egg sinker weighs 1/4 oz (7 g) and comes in a pack of five, with an oval body and a silver finish. It is made for black bass and catfish fishing, where a weight this size fits common bottom and rigging setups. Anglers who target those species can keep a few in the tackle box for different spots.
Best for
- Live bait presentations for panfish and young catfish
- Light spinning rigs in shallow water
- Presentations under floats for crappie and bluegill
Skip if
- You need heavier weights for deeper water or current

Strengths
- Light 1/4 oz weight suits ultra-light and finesse presentations
