Quick take
Size 2/0 offset hooks with Owner's cutting point for improved penetration on soft-mouthed fish.
This is the Owner Mosquito offset worm hook in size 2/0, sold six to a pack with a black chrome finish. It has a fine-wire forged shank and a needle point, a shape suited to rigging soft plastics for bass. Anglers who fish light line in wind or choppy water may like how it sets itself.
Best for
- Worm and live bait fishing
- Light line applications
- Bass and panfish in turbid water
Skip if
- You need hooks for hard-mouthed species
- You fish heavy cover where a strong wire helps
Strengths

- Offset design works well under a tight line
- Ultra-sharp needle point reduces pressure needed to set
- Fine wire is easy to remove from live bait
Trade-offs
