Quick take
Size 3/0 black chrome worm hooks with super needle points, designed for Texas rigging, wacky rigging, and live-bait presentations.
The Owner TwistLock Light in size 3/0 is a lighter-wire worm hook with a centering-pin spring that holds a soft plastic bait at its nose. Its thinner wire and 30-degree eye bend suit Senko-style rigs and other slim soft plastics. Each pack holds five hooks with a black chrome finish and a needle point.
Best for
- Soft plastic worm Texas rigging
- Live baitfish presentations
- Fresh and saltwater applications
Skip if
- You use circle hooks for catch-and-release
- You need extra-large hooks for big baits
Strengths
- Super needle point pierces lure and fish mouth quickly
- Black chrome finish resists rust and blends with water color
- Twistlock design keeps soft plastic bait from rotating
Trade-offs
- J-hook design is swallowed deeper by fish than circle hooks
- Size 3/0 is too small for large live baits or saltwater
- Light wire bends if used with oversized baits or bass
