Quick take

A set of 40 plastic rod clips that hold fishing rods or pool cues on walls, each with pre-drilled holes for simple installation.

This is a set of 40 black plastic clips for mounting fishing rods on a wall. Each clip has a 16mm opening that you push a rod into, and two pre-punched screw holes for fastening it wherever you like. Screws are not included. It suits anglers building a custom rod rack in a garage, shed or spare room, and the same clips also hold billiard cues.

Best for

  • Organizing multiple rods in a garage or workshop
  • Keeping rods off floors and safe from damage
  • Space-efficient wall storage for large collections

Skip if

  • You need heavy-duty industrial storage
  • You have only 1-2 rods

Strengths

  • 40-piece set handles large collections
  • Larger size than older models fits most standard rods
  • Two screw holes per clip ensure solid mounting

Trade-offs

  • Plastic construction is less durable than metal
  • Screws are not included
  • Clips do not feature rod-securing mechanisms beyond friction
