Quick take
Soft swimbaits with paddle tails and two-tone coloring that flap and vibrate at any speed to mimic baitfish.
A pack of 20 soft plastic paddle tail swimbaits, each 3 inches long, in red, orange, green, yellow and white. The flat tail kicks as the bait is reeled, and top and bottom hook slots make rigging simple while keeping the point tucked in. It suits anglers who want a swimbait for casting to bass.
Best for
- Bass fishing in weed and wood where a lifelike profile attracts strikes
- Panfish in shallow water when jigged vertically
- Weightless presentations where soft body action matters
Skip if
- You need ultra-durable lures; soft plastic degrades with toothy fish
- You fish fast-moving water; soft body action disappears at high speeds
Strengths
- Flat paddle tail produces fluttering action even on slow retrieves and dead falls
- Soft plastic body is supple enough to resist tearing on snags
- Two-tone coloring creates contrast and stands out in stained water
Trade-offs
- Soft plastic deteriorates after multiple fish; color choice runs out before durability ends
- Hook slots can tear if you rig aggressively or change hooks repeatedly
- Requires a lighter bite to penetrate the soft body fully

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
