Quick take

High-carbon steel octopus hooks in assorted sizes for rigging live and cut bait in freshwater and saltwater.

Best for

  • Live bait fishing for panfish and catfish
  • Bottom fishing rigs with multiple hook sizes
  • Building a varied hook inventory for different baits

Skip if

  • You need specialty hooks like circle or drop-shot designs
  • You prefer single-size packs for your primary technique

Strengths

  • Wide size range from 1# to 6/0 covers most live bait applications
  • Black nickel finish resists rust and maintains color in saltwater
  • Offset point and barbs hold soft baits securely through cast

Trade-offs

  • Bulk assortment means some sizes may go unused
  • Octopus hook profile may not suit finesse presentations
