Quick take
A stainless steel fish gripper with integrated digital scale for accurately weighing catches in fresh or saltwater.
This stainless steel fish gripper has a digital scale built into the handle, so you can hold a fish by the lip and weigh it in one step. It reads up to 60 lb, switches between pounds and kilograms, and keeps up to ten weights in memory. A backlit display helps at dawn or dusk, and it runs on two AAA batteries.
Best for
- Tournament and competitive fishing
- Recording catch sizes and planning trophy photos
- Saltwater fishing where rust prevention matters
Skip if
- You release most fish and don't need exact weights
- You fish only small panfish under 5 pounds
Strengths
- Digital display with backlight shows weight clearly even in low light
- Stainless steel construction is saltwater-resistant
- Memory function records weights, useful for comparing sessions or proving tournament winners
Trade-offs
- Requires two AAA batteries for operation
- Digital displays are vulnerable to spray damage despite water resistance
- At capacity, 60 lb gripper may strain your hand on very large fish
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
