Quick take
A clear bait storage jar holding up to 18 individual containers with high-density foam padding and ProLatch closures.
The Plano Bait Stowaway is a clear, rectangular box that keeps up to 18 bait jars upright in foam-padded slots. Its ProLatch closures and see-through body make it easy to check what is inside before you head out. It suits anglers who carry live bait on bass, walleye or panfish trips.
Best for
- Organizing and transporting multiple types of live bait
- Bass, catfish, and pike fishing where bait variety helps
- Tournament anglers who need quick access to different baits
Skip if
- You fish with only one bait type
- You carry live baitfish in an aerator bucket
Strengths
- High-density foam padding secures jars and prevents spills
- Transparent design lets you see contents at a glance
- ProLatch closures keep jars from tipping during transport
Trade-offs
- Does not aerate water; unsuitable for long trips
- Foam padding takes up interior space
- ProLatch closures can become difficult to open with wet hands
