Quick take
Clear plastic deep box with adjustable dividers and ProWatch latches keeps tackle organized and secure in transit.
This is Plano's Deep Stowaway utility box, a clear hard case with adjustable dividers that lets you set up from 5 to 21 compartments. At about 14 by 9 inches and 2.8 inches deep, it suits bulkier tackle such as larger lures and gear that shallow trays cannot hold. Anglers who like to sort tackle their own way and keep it together in a boat or truck will find it a practical fit.
Best for
- Organizing terminal tackle, hooks, and small lures
- Saltwater anglers who need reliable closure latches
- Boat and vehicle storage where items can get jostled
Skip if
- You need an ultra-compact portable option
- You store very large or heavy items
Strengths
- Clear plastic lets you see contents at a glance
- Adjustable compartments fit different tackle shapes
- ProWatch latches hold secure through rough handling
Trade-offs
- Deep box may hold too much and become disorganized
- Clear plastic becomes cloudy after extended use
- Larger footprint than small utility boxes
