Quick take
A slim double-sided satchel with a handle that holds tackle in 20 compartments on each side.
The Plano 112000 is a slim, handled satchel that packs 20 compartments of mixed sizes into a box about 12 by 9 by 4 inches. Both sides open under clear lids, so you can see which side holds the hooks or the jigs before you lift a latch. Brass bail latches keep it closed in transit, and the plastic body weighs about 2.2 pounds. It suits anglers who want a compact, carry-anywhere box for a modest kit of tackle.
Best for
- Anglers who want a compact carry bag
- Combining different types of tackle without a main box
- Storing and transporting tackle on foot or by kayak
Skip if
- You prefer one large tackle box
- You need deep storage for large swimbaits
Strengths
- Double-sided design doubles storage without adding width
- Sturdy handle and brass latches for secure carry
- See-through lids show contents without opening each side
Trade-offs
- Slim design limits depth of stored tackle
- Compartments vary in size; not all fit large lures
- Two-sided setup can make it heavier than a single-box option of the same capacity
