Quick take
A compact transparent tackle box with internal dividers and V-grooves that hold crankbaits and plugs tangle-free.
This is the medium Plano Elite Series Crankbait StowAway 3700, a clear hard-plastic box sized for about 22 medium crankbaits. Fixed dividers keep lures from sliding around, and a V-groove tray tucks the hooks away so they stay untangled. At roughly 14 by 9 inches and under 2 inches thick, it slips under a boat seat or into a kayak or pack. It suits anglers who want their crankbait lineup visible and sorted before they reach the water.
Best for
- Organizing medium crankbaits in your truck or kayak
- Storing spinnerbaits, swimbaits and plugs
- Quick access without opening a large tackle bag
Skip if
- You need storage for multiple sizes of lures mixed together
- You want rigid protection from crushing in a backpack
Strengths
- Transparent design lets you see contents instantly
- Internal dividers keep lures from sliding and tangling
- Compact size fits under seats and in kayaks
Trade-offs
- Fits only medium lures, not large pike lures or minnows
- V-groove tray works best for lures with trebles
- No weatherstripping so hooks can snag lids
