Quick take

Extra-large three-tray tackle box with brass latch and bulk storage for comprehensive tackle organization.

The Plano 613306 is a classic three-tray tackle box built for anglers who carry a lot of lures, hooks and small accessories. Its trays sit above a large bulk storage area for bigger pieces of gear, and two compartments in the lid are reachable without lifting a tray. A brass-bailed latch closes it, and it measures 19.25 inches long.

Best for

  • Home or boat tackle storage
  • Anglers who organize extensively
  • Long fishing trips with varied tackle

Skip if

  • You travel light or walk to fishing spots
  • You need portability

Strengths

  • Three trays with various compartment sizes organize different tackle types
  • Large bulk storage holds oversized gear
  • Brass latch is durable and secure

Trade-offs

  • Heavy and large; difficult to transport by hand
  • Fixed compartments offer less flexibility
  • Over-sized for catch-and-carry fishing
