Quick take

A soft-sided tackle bag with zipper-free top access, MOLLE attachments, and interior lighting for organized tackle storage.

This Plano Weekend Series Softsider is a soft tackle bag sized for 3700 StowAway utility boxes, and it comes with two of them. The zipperless top panel opens straight onto the boxes, and mesh side pockets, a front pocket, a D-ring and MOLLE attachment points hold pliers and other small gear. A light-colored interior makes it easier to see inside at dusk, which suits a shore or boat day trip.

Best for

Weekend fishing trips requiring organized tackle boxes
Anglers who prefer quick access over zipper management
Boat anglers with limited deck space

Skip if

You transport rods; this bag is tackle-only
You need maximum security against salt spray

Strengths

Zipper-free design enables quick access to tackle boxes
MOLLE attachment points customize organization with add-ons
Light interior visibility helps finding colors in low light

Trade-offs

Zipper-free design means spills and bounce-out under rough transport
Soft construction offers less protection than hard boxes
Limited capacity of 3 stowaways restricts tackle volume
