Quick take
A 3 mm neoprene cover for 4000-7000 series spinning reels with ocean blue pattern.
This is a soft neoprene sleeve sized for 4000-7000 spinning reels, 3mm thick, in an Ocean Blue pattern. A hook and loop closure at the opening lets you snug it around the reel, on or off the rod, for left- or right-hand setups. It adds a layer of padding for reels riding in a trunk, tackle bag or boat locker.
Best for
- Protecting reels in vehicle trunks and tackle bags
- Reels that see saltwater and need extra care
- Anglers who store reels on and off the rod
Skip if
- You need protection during active fishing
- You have very large or very small reels
Strengths
- 3 mm thickness absorbs collision impacts
- High-density material resists UV rays and high temperature
- Water-resistant construction slows water penetration if wiped promptly
Trade-offs
- Thick neoprene is awkward during active fishing situations
- Hook-loop fasteners may weaken over repeated use
- Ocean current pattern is decorative and offers no functional benefit
