Quick take

A telescoping landing net with aluminum frame and soft rubber-coated nylon mesh that folds for storage and floats in water.

This is a foldable landing net with an aluminum alloy frame and a telescoping handle that adjusts from about 31.5 to 38.9 inches. A foam-padded hoop keeps it afloat, and the rubber-coated mesh is meant for catch and release. It collapses for carrying on a boat, kayak or bank, which suits anglers who want a compact net for freshwater or saltwater trips.

Best for

Kayak and boat fishing where portability matters
Catch-and-release where soft mesh protects fish slime
Freshwater and saltwater use with quick rinsing

Skip if

Netting large saltwater species that require heavy mesh
Bank fishing where a fixed-handle net is more stable

Strengths

Foldable design fits in small spaces like kayak hatches
Rubber-coated mesh is easy to rinse and dries quickly
Aluminum frame is lighter than steel and resists corrosion

Trade-offs

Telescoping handle is less rigid than fixed handles
Small to medium hoop size limits netting very large fish
Non-absorbent coating feels slick and may need grip adjustments

Fishing fit

Water: Freshwater
Saltwater
