Quick take
UPF 50+ fingerless gloves with synthetic leather grip for rod handling and sun protection.
These Jungle Camo half-finger gloves cover the back of the hand with a UPF 50+ polyester and spandex blend while leaving the fingertips free for tying knots and handling hooks. A textured palm gives a firmer hold on the rod, and the thin fabric packs flat into a pocket. They suit anglers, kayakers and boaters who spend long days in the sun and want hand coverage without losing dexterity.
Best for
- Shallow water casting
- All-day sun exposure
- Anglers who need full finger dexterity
Skip if
- You fish cold water; try insulated gloves
- You need full hand warmth
Strengths
- Microfiber thickening and synthetic leather palm reduces calluses
- UPF 50+ blocks UV while staying breathable
- 4-way stretch fits comfortably without restricting movement
Trade-offs
- Fingerless design offers no cold protection
- Synthetic leather wears with heavy use
- Not waterproof, though quick-drying fabric helps
