Quick take

A gel scent from pro angler Rich Tauber combining shad, crawfish, minnows and worms, made to stick to tubes, jigs and soft plastics.

Pro-Cure Trophy Bass Super Gel comes in an 8 ounce container and is meant for soft plastics, tubes, jigs, crankbaits and stick baits. The gel is UV enhanced and made to stick to artificial baits, which suits bass anglers who want scent on the lure through a day of casting. The 8 ounce size keeps a full jar of bass scent on hand for a season of trips.

Best for

Coating tubes fished on the drop or bottom
Adding to crankbaits for extra appeal in cold water
Boosting jigs fished in heavy cover

Skip if

You prefer a scent spray or soak product
You fish saltwater; this blend targets freshwater bass

Strengths

Gel formula clings to lures better than spray

Trade-offs
