Quick take
A UV-enhanced gel made from real tui chubs, thick and sticky for coating artificial baits.
Pro-Cure Trophy Trout Super Gel is a thick scent gel in a 2 oz squeeze bottle, made around tui chub and aimed at browns and rainbows. It is meant to be worked onto artificial baits such as soft plastics and hard lures. Trout anglers who like adding scent to their presentation will find it a simple fit for a stream or lake kit.
Best for
- Trophy trout in streams and lakes
- Enhancing artificial baits and lures
- Increasing scent dispersal around baits
Skip if
- Live bait fishing; this is a scent enhancer only
- Saltwater fishing; freshwater product
Strengths
- Made from real bait (tui chubs), not artificial scent
- UV enhancement makes it visible to fish
- Thick gel stays on baits through casting
Trade-offs
- Messy to handle and apply
- Must coat lures or baits; not standalone
- Scent is species-specific (trout)
Fishing fit
- Species
- Trout
- Water
- Freshwater
