Quick take

A short-handled floating net with an 8x8 inch scoop for retrieving bait from wells on boats and at liveries.

This yellow bait well net from Promar has a short 17 inch handle that suits shallow wells and tight quarters on a boat. Its 8 inch scoop is made of nylon mesh, and the whole net floats, so it is easy to pick up if it slips over the side. A handy piece of kit for anglers who keep live bait aboard.

  • Dipping bait from boat wells
  • Shore-based bait management
  • Quick bait retrieval in shallow water

Skip if

  • You fish from shore without bait wells
