Quick take
Floating rectangular landing net with a deep nylon mesh bag designed for general freshwater and light saltwater fishing.
The Promar ProFloat LN-210 is a rectangular landing net with a 13.5" x 18.5" hoop and nylon construction. Its buoyant frame and handle keep it floating if it slips from your grip, and the rubber-coated mesh with a flat bottom is meant to snag less on hooks. It suits kayak, float tube and wading anglers who want a compact net close at hand.
Best for
- Netting bass and walleye from boats and shore
- Wading situations where a floating net prevents loss
- Multiple-fish trips where a rigid frame handles repeated use
Skip if
- You fish exclusively with fly rods; use a fly-specific net
- You need a collapsible or telescoping net for compact storage
Strengths
- Floating feature prevents net loss if dropped overboard
- Nylon mesh is durable and easy to clean
- Rectangular design fits deeper-bodied fish
Trade-offs
- Nylon mesh can snag on rough skin and teeth
- Floating design adds weight compared to traditional nets
- Fixed size cannot telescope for compact storage
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
