Quick take
A heavy-duty steel rod rack holding 6 fishing rods horizontally, designed for garage, basement, or boat mounting with weather-resistant powder coat.
This overhead rack from Rack'em holds fishing rods up against the ceiling of a garage, basement, boat house or cabin, freeing floor and wall space. Two 28-inch steel racks mount with the included hardware, and you set the spacing between them to match your rods. The powder-coated steel suits indoor or outdoor spots, and it takes rods of any shape or size, left- or right-handed.
Best for
- Protecting and organizing a collection of 4 to 8 fishing rods
- Garage and garage storage where rods need protection from damage
- Boat and cabin storage in indoor or semi-protected spaces
Skip if
- You need storage for more than 8 rods
- You fish primarily from one location
Strengths
- Heavy-duty powder-coated steel resists rust and weathering
- Adjustable width accommodates various rod sizes and styles
- Overhead mounting preserves floor and wall space
Trade-offs
- Ceiling or wall installation requires drilling and hardware
- Horizontal storage keeps rods out of sight but less accessible for quick grabbing
- Limited to 6 rods, requiring additional racks for larger collections
