Quick take
Nylon covers that attach to a rod keeper to wrap around lures and prevent tangling with other gear.
This pack holds three large Rapala lure wraps, each about 7 by 6-1/4 inches. A nylon cover wraps over a lure and its hooks so they stay clear of other lures, rods and line in the box or on the boat. A sewn-in hook clips to the rod's bait keeper, so a rigged lure can ride on the rod. It suits anglers who carry several rigged baits and want them kept separate.
Best for
- Storing rigged lures on a rod between casts
- Organizing multiple lures on a boat or in a bag
- Protecting hook barbs and line during transport
Skip if
- You prefer a tackle box for full tackle storage
- You want protection for unrigged lures
Strengths
- Hook-resistant nylon completely covers lures and hooks
- Sewn-in hook attaches securely to a rod keeper
- Multiple lures fit in a single wrap
Trade-offs
- Each wrap holds only one rigged lure
- The nylon may eventually wear from repeated use
- Requires a rod keeper or similar attachment point
