Quick take

Silicone o-rings with internal teeth that rig seven to eight-inch stick baits without a tool.

The Sink-O-Ring is an offset O-ring for wacky rigging soft stick worms, sold as a 10-pack in 5/8 inch black. Its small inner teeth help hold the bait in place so it is less likely to slip off the ring. The ring goes on without a separate O-ring tool, which suits bass anglers who rig on the water. Use the 5/8 inch size for 7 to 8 inch stick worms.

Best for

  • Wacky rigging Senko-style baits for bass
  • Finesse fishing where the bait falls slowly through the water column
  • Reusing baits multiple times on the same rig

Skip if

  • You use three to four-inch baits; use 1/4 or 3/8 inch o-rings instead
  • You prefer a straight-shank worm hook without center rigging

Strengths

  • Small teeth inside the ring grip the bait and prevent slipping off
  • Silicone rings do not tear baits, allowing a dozen strikes per bait
  • No tool needed to rig; simply thread the bait through and loop the ring

Trade-offs

  • Five-eighths inch ring is too large for baits under six inches
  • Small teeth can dig into soft plastic and create drag; resizing helps
  • Silicone can stretch with use and may need replacement after several baits
