Quick take
Two hook removal tools in sizes for small and large fish, with magnetic bottoms for quick hook recovery.
This Realure hook remover set pairs two aluminum and stainless steel unhookers, a 17 cm one for larger fish and a 13 cm one for smaller fish. You slip the line into the loop and push forward to free the hook, which keeps fingers away from the point. The larger tool has a magnetic base for holding a hook once it is out, and the pair stores in a tube small enough for a tackle bag or pocket.
Best for
- Catch-and-release fishing
- Removing hooks from fish safely
- Protecting hands and fingers during release
Skip if
- You fish with barbless hooks exclusively
- You prefer traditional pliers for hook removal
Strengths
- Two sizes cover fish from panfish to large bass or catfish
- Magnetic bottom on large tool quickly captures removed hooks
- Loop design allows hook removal without hand contact
Trade-offs
- Requires practice to position hook correctly in the tool loop

- Small size makes the tools easy to lose overboard
