Quick take
A compact fly leader storage wallet with resealable pockets to keep leaders organized and dry.
This leader wallet gives fly anglers a tidy way to carry spare leaders, with six re-sealable plastic pockets that keep each one separated. A tough fabric shell closes up compactly, so it slips into a vest or pack. It suits trout, bass and steelhead anglers who like to match tapers and lengths to the water without tangles.
Best for
- Fly fishers who carry multiple leader sizes
- Keeping different tippet weights organized
- Protecting leaders from water and damage
Skip if
- You need space for fully spooled fly lines; use a line wallet instead
- You prefer a larger tackle organization system
Strengths
- Resealable plastic pockets prevent leaders from tangling or escaping
- Compact 4 x 4 size fits in fly vests and packs
- Six pockets with 12 compartments hold various leader diameters
Trade-offs
- Limited capacity compared to full tackle boxes
- Plastic construction may not be as durable as hard cases over years
- Color and design less intuitive than labeled compartments
