Quick take
Nylon-coated wire bite tippet for sharp-toothed saltwater and freshwater species.
A 15-foot spool of 20 lb nylon-coated wire tippet, built for toothy fish such as pike, musky, barracuda and bluefish. Its flexible braided construction can be tied straight to a fly, which suits anglers who want a wire bite tippet without a separate leader.
Best for
- Pike and musky fly fishing
- Barracuda and bluefish in saltwater
- Preventing bite-offs on sharp teeth
Skip if
- You fish only soft-mouthed species
- You prefer fluorocarbon leaders
Strengths
- Tough nylon coating resists sharp teeth and abrasion
- Super easy to tie knots without unwinding
- Available in multiple test weights
Trade-offs
