Quick take
Portable five-rod carrier with closed and open holders, kickstand and bungee cords for safe transport.
The Rod-Runner Pro 5 is a portable carrier that lets you walk to the water with five rods in one hand. Three closed holders suit spinning and fly setups, while two open holders make room for baitcasters and larger conventional reels. Removable legs and a curved handle make it easy to carry, and it stores compactly when you are done. It is a handy pick for anglers who haul several rods between a vehicle, boat or dock.
Best for
- Transporting multiple rigged rods in vehicles and boats
- Organizing rod setups during fishing trips
- Protecting guides and reel seats from damage
Skip if
- You fish single-rod setups
- You need compact carry for hiking
Strengths
- Holds 5 rods with different reel types simultaneously
- Bungee cords secure rods for vehicle transport
- Integrated kickstand allows hands-free angling
Trade-offs
- Bulky size requires truck bed or SUV storage
- ABS plastic can become brittle in extreme cold
- Assembly needed for some configurations
