Quick take

An 8 inch stainless steel fishing plier with integrated fish lip gripper kit for safe catch handling.

This 8-inch green kit pairs stainless steel fishing pliers with a nylon fish gripper, so one pouch covers hook removal and handling a catch. The jaws also work for cinching knots, and the handles carry a soft thermoplastic rubber grip. A sheath, coiled lanyard, carabiner and belt loop keep the tools on you at the water, and the stainless build suits fresh or salt water with a rinse afterward.

Best for

  • Multi-function fishing tasks from rigging to landing
  • Both freshwater and saltwater fishing
  • Anglers wanting complete tackle tool solutions

Skip if

  • You prefer dedicated single-function tools only
  • You have limited tackle box storage space

Strengths

  • Combination kit covers pliers and fish gripping needs
  • Fish gripper holds fish up to 110 lbs safely
  • Teflon coating resists corrosion in both water types
  • Full accessory kit includes sheaths and lanyards

Trade-offs

  • May include capabilities you don't need for your fishing
