Quick take
A ceiling-mounted rod holder that stores up to 6 fishing rods horizontally to save garage and storage space.
This black ABS plastic rack holds up to six rods and reels in a single horizontal run about 16 inches wide. It mounts overhead or on a wall, which gets rods off the floor and out of the corner of a garage or shed. It suits an angler with a handful of rods who wants them visible and easy to grab.
Best for
- Organizing multiple rods on a garage ceiling
- Keeping rods visible and within arm's reach
- Freeing up garage floor and shelf space
Skip if
- Your ceiling is vaulted or textured; mounting may be difficult
- You store rods in tubes for travel
Strengths
- Horizontal storage keeps rods straight and organized
- Ceiling mounting maximizes unused vertical space
- Black finish blends with most garage decor
Trade-offs
- ABS plastic is lighter than metal; limit to lighter rods
- Requires ceiling height of at least 1 ft above the rod holder
- Installation requires drilling through ceiling or joists
