Quick take

8-strand Japanese PE braided line in passion pink with low stretch and high sensitivity.

Seaguar's PEX8 Lure Edition is an eight-strand braided line spooled at 200 meters in a 1.5 size. Its pink body carries lime-green markings every meter, which help anglers read how deep a lure runs and spot a bite. It suits anglers who want a thin, low-stretch braid for lure work.

Best for

  • Ultralight freshwater fishing
  • High-sensitivity applications
  • Visible line where stealth is not needed

Skip if

  • You need a camouflaged line color
  • You fish heavy structure or sharp rocks

Strengths

  • Ultra-low stretch provides direct contact with the lure
  • High visibility in daylight helps with strike detection
  • Ultra-thin diameter casts farther than monofilament

Trade-offs

  • Bright pink color visible to fish
  • Lower abrasion resistance than mono in rocky areas
  • Requires quality knot practice to prevent slipping

Fishing fit

Water
  • Freshwater
  • Saltwater
