Quick take
A lightweight telescoping net with rubber mesh that reduces hook tangles and is suitable for both fresh and saltwater fishing.
This SEASPRO landing net pairs an aluminum alloy frame with a soft rubber mesh that keeps hooks from snagging and is gentle on fish during catch and release. The three-section telescoping handle runs from about 38 inches out to roughly 64 inches, so it reaches from a pier, a bank or a boat, then folds down for the trip home. It suits freshwater and saltwater anglers who want a compact, light net in the tackle bag.
Best for
- Reaching fish in deep water or from high banks
- Quick catch-and-release of various fish sizes
- Anglers who need adjustable reach
Skip if
- You need maximum strength for very large fish
- You fish in rough water with fast currents
Strengths
- Rubber mesh does not snag hooks or lures
- Aluminum frame is light yet strong and corrosion-resistant
- Three-section design extends and retracts smoothly
Trade-offs

- Rubber mesh is softer than nylon and prone to puncturing
- Extended net requires space to maneuver in dense vegetation
