Quick take
A telescoping aluminum landing net with rubber mesh that extends 37.8 to 63.8 inches and folds for easy storage.
This SEASPRO landing net pairs a rubber mesh with a three-section aluminum pole that telescopes from about 37.8 to 63.8 inches. The rubber mesh keeps hooks from snagging and is gentler on a fish's skin, which suits catch and release from a pier, bank or boat. It folds down for carrying and weighs about 0.68 kilograms.
Best for
- Freshwater and saltwater fishing from shore or boat
- Catch-and-release fishing
- Transporting fish with minimal damage
Skip if
- You fish exclusively from a boat with a gaff
- You need a net that stays permanently extended
Strengths
- Rubber mesh prevents hooks and line from tangling
- Rubber is gentle on fish skin, reducing damage for catch-and-release
