Quick take
Japanese fluorocarbon leader line with refraction index matching water for invisibility and sensitivity.
Best for

- Situations demanding high sensitivity on light line
- Discerning species like trout and walleye
Skip if
- You fish murky water where leader visibility is not a problem
Strengths
- Nearly invisible underwater reduces bites lost to leader spooking
- Supple with minimal line memory fresh from spool
- High abrasion resistance for rough bottoms
Trade-offs
- More difficult to tie knots than monofilament
