Quick take
A complete entry-level 5-weight fly rig with rod, reel, and accessories for learning in trout streams and rivers.
This is a 9-foot, 5-weight fly rod and reel outfit with a medium-fast carbon fiber blank and a cork grip. It comes pre-spooled with line, backing and a tapered leader, and adds a fly box with a few starter flies, a nipper, forceps and a travel tube. A 5-weight at this length suits trout fishing on streams, rivers, lakes and ponds, which makes it a practical way for a newcomer to start fly fishing.
