Quick take
A 100% fluorocarbon tippet with multiple sizes from 0X to 7X for trout and panfish.
This is a single 30-meter spool of 5X fluorocarbon tippet for fly fishing, sold without a spool holder. Fluorocarbon sinks faster than nylon and is hard to see in the water, which suits trout fishing with small flies. It also works for Tenkara setups where a fine, supple tippet matters.
Best for
- Nymph fishing where fast sink helps
- Tenkara fly fishing
- Trout in clear water
Skip if
- You need the softest, most supple tippet for dry flies
- You are beginning fly fishing
