Quick take
Foam neck lanyard system that holds fly fishing tools within reach, keeping both hands free for casting and fishing.
This fly fishing lanyard hangs from the neck on an adjustable foam strap and keeps small tools within reach on the water. The loaded version comes with holders for tippet, pliers, a zinger retractor, nippers, a hook sharpener, a fly patch and a floatant bottle. It suits fly anglers who want their gear on the chest instead of in a vest pocket.
Best for
- Wade fishing where hands must stay on the rod
- Situations requiring quick access to multiple fly tools
- Organized fly anglers wanting gear organized and accessible
Skip if
- You prefer chest pack storage over neck wear
- You fish from a boat where tools can be organized elsewhere
Strengths
- Neck-worn design keeps tools within arm's reach and visible
- Foam strap provides comfort during long wading sessions
- Multiple pockets organize tippet, flies, and small tools
- Frees both hands for casting and fighting fish
Trade-offs
