Quick take
Neoprene reel cover with elastic mesh for low profile baitcasters, protecting reels during storage and transport.
A single pull-on pouch sized for 300 series low profile baitcasting reels. The stretchy neoprene body hugs the reel, and a roller wheel with a top handle and hand strap makes it easy to carry. It suits anglers who toss reels in a truck or tackle bag and want a light cushion against scrapes between trips.
Best for
- Protecting reel finish in a tackle bag
- Cushioning reels in vehicle storage
- Keeping sand and salt spray off during travel
Skip if
- You use reel cases with hard plastic shells
- You keep reels on rods in a rod rack
Strengths
- Neoprene absorbs shocks and prevents cosmetic damage
- Double elastic design breathes to prevent mildew
- Snug mesh fit works with most 300-series reels
Trade-offs
- Elastic wears and becomes loose with repeated use
- Does not protect against impacts as well as hard cases
- Only fits specific reel sizes
