Quick take
A super-slim waterproof fly box only 0.5 inches thick, designed for midges, small nymphs and emergers.
This clear-lidded plastic fly box is built for midges and small nymphs, with 156 slit-foam compartments in a body only about 0.5 inch thick. It measures roughly 7.4 by 4.3 inches, so it slips into a shirt breast pocket and leaves room to carry several boxes at once. The clear lid lets you spot a pattern without opening the box, and the waterproof plastic body is meant to float if it drops in the water.
Best for
- Minimalist fly fishing with small pattern focus
- Fishing in tight pockets and small streams
- Keeping multiple slim boxes in a limited pack space
Skip if
