Quick take
Weight forward floating fly line with welding rings at both ends and a taper design for accurate casting in all conditions.
This is a 90-foot weight-forward floating fly line in a 5-weight, finished in sky blue. A welded loop at each end makes changing leaders quick, and a printed label shows which end goes toward the reel. The braided polyethylene core with a PVC coating suits anglers who want a simple floating line for trout and panfish with a lighter fly rod.
Best for
- Dry fly and nymph fishing in streams and small rivers
- Fly fishing in variable weather conditions
- Anglers stepping up from beginner fly fishing
Skip if
- You fish only ultra-clear, spooky water; use a longer leader
- You need a sinking line for deep nymphs or streamers
Strengths
- Weight forward design provides long casting distance

- Special taper and core formulation ensures smooth casting
