Quick take
High carbon steel circle hooks that hook fish in the corner of the mouth, ideal for live bait fishing and catch-and-release.
This 100-count pack of black high carbon steel circle hooks comes in a 6/0 size with a curved point set perpendicular to the shank. That point shape tends to catch fish at the corner of the mouth, which helps when releasing fish with less handling. The inline straight eye suits live and natural bait rigs in both salt and fresh water.
Best for
- Live bait fishing for catfish and saltwater bottom species
- Catch-and-release fishing where deep hooking causes injury
- Fishing alone; circle hooks set without anglers striking
Skip if
- You use only lures and jigs
- You fish with artificial baits
Strengths
- Circle design hooks fish in corner of mouth, improving survival rate
- Self-setting action means you can fish hands-free or while waiting
- High carbon steel resists rust and holds sharpness through multiple fish
