Quick take

Pre-tied carp hair rigs with curved barbed hooks and braided leaders, ready to fish.

This pack of 18 pre-tied carp hair rigs comes as three bags of six, with curved-shank barbed hooks in sizes 2, 4 and 6. Each rig pairs a high carbon steel hook with a braided hair, a swivel and an anti-tangle sleeve, so setup at the bank goes quickly. It suits carp anglers who fish boilies and want ready-made rigs in a few hook sizes.

Best for

Carp fishing where hair rigs hold boilies on the hook shank
Anglers who do not want to hand-tie complex carp rigs
Boilie fishing for big carp in lakes and slow rivers

Skip if

You prefer simple bottom rigs for panfish or catfish
You want to customize your hair rig specifications

Strengths

Hair design holds boilies separate from the hook, increasing bites
Curved shank barb aids hookset on hard-mouthed carp
Braided leader resists abrasion on sharp pebbles and shells

Trade-offs

Design is species-specific; unsuitable for most other fish types
Hair loop can break or fail to set properly under pressure
Boilies are not included and must be purchased separately
